Jackie has over 25 years experience in executive search and helping people achieve their career goals and ambitions. She has partnered with universities, independent schools, large and mid-tier organisations to provide executive search solutions on a wide range of senior appointments including chief executives, department heads, academic and research leaders, and arts and culture directors. She also provides leadership development and consulting advice to academic leaders, including leadership and executive coaching, career development and transition coaching, and helping candidates prepare for interview.

Jackie is determined to make a positive difference to how people bring their strengths and potential into the executive search and recruitment process.

Prior to establishing Devereaux Consulting, Jackie held a senior consulting appointment within the education practice of a global executive search firm. Earlier in her career, Jackie held the position of Director, Assessment and Client Development within a boutique search firm, providing search, assessment, coaching, and leadership advice to senior executives within the education and government sectors.

Jackie holds a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from James Cook University. She is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society and an Affiliate of the APS College of Organisational Psychologists. She is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and she is also a certified executive coach.
